The Artist Greg revealed his newest collection - Greatness Plus Wealth - which was "inspired by the decline in classic brands and up-rise of knock off poser collections that grace our stores today". Greg's collection includes T-Shirts, varsity sweaters, women's panties, and more. GOTDRO.COM's Asia rocked the white T which prominently displays the logo that is Greatness Plus Wealth. FYI Da D.R.O. still wears his grey T when he's not wearing the signature GOTDRO T.

Washington Wizards Unveil new look

Washington Wizards unveiled their new look. Brand new logo and uniforms that’s reminiscent of the throwback bullets red, white, and blue. John Wall, Jordan Crawford, and Hamady Ndiaye were in the building signing autographs. Also signing autographs were past Bullets greats Rich Rinaldi, Kevin Grevey, Rick Mahorn, Elvin Hayes, Bob Dandridge, Phil Chenier, and Gheorghe Muresan.

GOTDRO.COM's Asia and Da D.R.O. accompanied Devin and the Coughee Brothaz while in DC as they promoted their new album FRESH BREW. Their last album “Waitin’ Our Turn” was released in 2007 so this was definitely a treat to say the least. This is not however a first for GOTDRO.COM as we were lucky enough to cover Devin and the Coughee Brothaz in 2010 in San Antonio, TX. You can purchase the new album exclusively through iTunes and other digital retailers.

Asia and Da D.R.O. attended the Gentleman Jack Arts, beats, + lyrics tour for the very first time. This art exhibition is definitely one of a kind. A line formed out of the Andrew Mellon Auditorium beginning at 9PM. There was a 45 minute wait before you could gain a glimpse of the party goers inside. Patrons were impatiently squeezing into the building, clinging to friends and loved ones. After the quick frisk and purse check, patrons proceeded to the registration table; two drink tickets per guest and on to the party. Gentleman Jack definitely threw a great party.
The tour offered a multimedia fusion of urban art, live music and the original themes of hip hop; graffiti, dee jaying, emceeing, and break dancing.
Over 25 artists from around the world were featured including V.Flowers, Dubelyoo, Mad Clout, Flux, Michi, Shannon McCollum, Gilbert Young, City of Ink, Occasional Superstar, Wak, and Ernie Paniccolli.
Hip-hop freshman, Kendrick Lamar, entertained the crowd with his high energy performance. The Compton native has received a rare co-sign from hip hop legend Dr. Dre and also graces the March cover of XXL magazine annual “Freshman Class” issue.

GOTDRO.COM's Asia and Da D.R.O. paid a visit to club LIV for the 2011 Battle of the District. Hosted by House Studio DC, the Battle 4 The District talent search takes place every Monday in February. It is a multi-round elimination music competition scored by a panel of local celebrity judges. The winners were rewarded with a $5000 production package and a chance to work with Grammy Nominated producers and engineers.

Sneaker Con is the premiere Buy/Sell/Trade convention offering sneaker heads of all ages a chance to get their hands on the newest, rarest and most coveted footwear currently on the market. The convention traveled to the nation’s capital, Washington DC, marking the first ever Sneaker Con to travel outside of New York City. The one-day event featured over forty vendors featuring vintage sneakers and clothing from the past three decades, along with all the hottest and most sought after recent releases.
